I attribute most of it to the classes. In oct 09 I was up to 210. I cut my calories and lost some weight that way. Then I started seeing a weight loss dr in Austin and he had me on phentermine, b12 and a fat burner and I got down to 171. But the 13 lbs I lost in your class has felt the best. Thank you so much.

I grew up being quite athletic and competitive in sports, and in my adult life try to maintain some sort of balance between nutrition, fitness, and an overall healthy lifestyle. Although I struggle with this at times, I found boot camp to be a wonderful way to initiate a serious fitness routine. The combination of Adam's constant motivation, periodic emails providing invaluable training and nutrition advice, and solid workouts targeting core areas, made me feel like a new woman! Boot Camp was one of the best things I ever challenged myself to do. When I realized it was time for me to get into shape and start paying attention to my body and my health, I looked to Pinnacle Performance for guidance. With Adam's knowledge and expertise of nutrition and fitness, I knew that he would work with me to become the best I could be. I just want you to know that these last 2 months of boot camp has been a fulfilling experience. I've really been whipped into shape and feel that I am much much stronger than when I started. Your boot camp is challenging, rewarding, and lots of fun! I thank you for your dedication and support through my experience and look forward to participating in boot camp again sometime in the near future. Pinnacle Fitness Boot Camp is a real “partner” in your goals to be healthy. Adam has such a good understanding of exercise paired with nutrition. His programs are a complete package. Adam has just the right mix of compassion and motivation. The Boot Camps have gotten better over the years to be more individualistic and challenging in short bursts rather than agonizing. I look forward to Boot Camp days, which I NEVER thought I would say. The circuit training style is great for the people who have a mental block with exercising. It’s very challenging, but great for any body type or level, and you see results! I would recommend Pinnacle Performance as a long-term partner to stay healthy, fit and feeling great. Plus, Adam is a joy to be around and can handle a bunch of complaining women, so that’s an added bonus.

I definitely incorporate more variety into my workouts. I used to just run, but now I see how some resistance training has really helped my body tone up and work more efficiently. Because of the incorporation of strength training, I am back to running quicker paces than I have in 2-3 years! I have been pretty good about getting physical activity in – but I am definitely less apt to skip a workout because I don’t feel like it now.
I’m always telling my husband, “I wish we had friends here so I could get them to come to boot camp!” I really don’t know anyone outside of work – and most of my colleagues live in Kingsville. You can be sure that as I do meet people in Corpus, I’ll be recommending you!
